Our team is approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to do FHA appraisals. Below we have included a basic description of what an FHA Insured mortgage is.
FHA mortgage insurance provides lenders with protection against losses as the result of homeowners defaulting on their mortgage loans. The lenders bear less risk because FHA will pay a claim to the lender in the event of a homeowner's default. Loans must meet certain requirements established by FHA to qualify for insurance.

We are proud to say we are approved by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) to do appraisal work. There are two main goals of a VA appraisal. The first is to determine a fair market value of the subject property. The second is to determine whether or not the property is safe, structurally sound, and sanitary. For these reasons this type of appraisal is more involved appraiser are not home inspectors but they are required to do a more thorough review of the subject property to ensure the property is acceptable.
