Palm Beach Appraisers & Consultants, Inc. is a full-service real estate appraisal and consulting firm, established in West Palm Beach in 1980. Since its inception, it has grown to include an office in Stuart, established in 1986, that is currently doing business as East Coast Appraisers & Consultants. The corporation was founded by Vivian S. Kerr, SRA, and James E. Kerr, ASA, both appraisers who manage and maintain the company with a full-time staff of appraisers and professional support personnel.

Palm Beach Appraisers & Consultants, Inc. provides a wide variety of appraisal services including valuations for residential properties and all types of commercial properties. In addition, services are provided for residential or commercial appraisal review, and construction progress and completion inspections. Clients can be assured of a well-researched and technically accurate appraisal report supported by the most up-to-date data and equipment available. Quality control is maintained through an internal review process and assures clients of a competent and thorough product.

The staff appraisers are all state-certified or registered and are FHA or VA approved, with many years of experience and expert knowledge of all the areas served (Fort Lauderdale to Vero Beach). Over 50% of the appraisal staff have been associated with the firm for more than 10 years. Many are qualified to provide expert witness testimony in courts located in Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Some have served regularly on the Palm Beach County Value Adjustment Board as special masters during the fall tax assessment hearings.
